References made to "we, us, and our" in this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use relate to Unicus Resources.

About Us

Unicus Resources are feedback, coaching and survey specialists. Established in 2006, we have a strong track-record of providing 360° and other feedback surveys to UK and international clients in the public, private and voluntary sectors. We have users in over 50 countries.

In addition to directly providing these services to our own clients, we work in partnership with other developmental consultancy organisations including ELA Development, Advance Consulting, etc. The websites either use our URL address or one specifically designed for our clients/partner organisations. Our website is hosted in the UK and complies with UK Data Protection legislation.

Information Storage

Unicus Resources take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is collected and stored securely, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We collect and store enough information to provide clients with 360 reports, 180 reports and Evaluation reports. We do not store information that is irrelevant to our purpose. We keep data for 6 months following cessation of our contract and this is only accessed if individuals request copies of their reports to track their progress.

360° & 180° Participant data collection is confined to:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company
  • Relationship with Respondent (for example, Line Manager, Peer, Direct Report, Partner Organisation etc.)
  • Email addresses of chosen respondents
  • Ratings and feedback given from Participants chosen Respondents

360° & 180° Respondents' data collection is confined to:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company
  • Relationship with Participant (for example, Line Manager, Peer, Direct Report, Partner Organisation etc.)
  • Ratings and feedback given on a particular Participant

The feedback given is anonymous and not identified, unless it is that of a Line Manager. However, if the respondent chooses to provide details that will identify them to the Participant, Unicus Resources cannot be held responsible. If you do not want us to use your data in this way, please advise us of this at any time, by email or phone.

All information provided by you is stored on our secure servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password that enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. You are strongly advised not to share passwords with another person(s). Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of data from you that is transmitted to our site; any transmission is at the sender's own risk. Once we have received data from any of these sources, we will use strict procedures and security features to ensure that the data is secure and safe from unauthorised access.

Security

Unicus Resources take the utmost care to ensure that our systems are secure at all times. Where appropriate, we employ firewalls, passwords, personal identification numbers and access control methods to control access to data stored on our systems.

Virus Protection

Unicus Resources take precautions to minimise the risk from software viruses, however, you should carry out your own virus checks before opening any attachments.

Consent

In using our service and providing us with your personal data you are granting consent for its collection and use in accordance with the following terms and in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

  • to provide the Participant with feedback relating to their performance and overall developmental needs.
  • to answer your questions and queries.
  • to contact you in order that we might fulfil our contractual obligations to ensure an optimal completion rate.
  • to enable us to develop and adjust our products and services to improve customer satisfaction.
  • to troubleshoot any problems, should they occur.

We do not pass data to any third party organisations without your consent. Aggregate data regarding browser configuration, computer optimisation and approximate geographic location is gathered using the Google Analytics service, which can be opted out utilising their browser extensions.

Your Rights and Access to Information

Unicus Resources will only contact you if there is a need to relating to an on-going survey or for research purposes. We do not pass on details to marketing companies.

Access to Information

The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of GBP 10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
